********* HUB RULES ********

SHARES:

1. No bootlegs of shows that are officially released. This goes for stuff like Budokan, LSFNY, L@TM, OIALT, WDADR, or any other officially released show be it an actual release, or an Ytsejam Records release. Same thing with other bands

2. No shows from bands who are against bootleg trading/sharing.

3. No sharing of DTIFC CD's. Those are also under copyright notice, and are special gifts for the members of the fan club. If you wish to acquire them, join the fan club. They still have some back issues left. Otherwise wait for Ytsejam Records to release all of them.

NOTE: This has been asked and verified from the head of the DTIFC, and it will not be changed at any time. The closing of DTIFC does not change this at all and it applies to ALL official Dream Theater fanclubs.

4. No GDT-shows as those have been requested not to be shared electronically. Same with other tapers who's wishes are known. For individually banned shows, type +banned in the mainchat of the hub (same list can be found in the post below this one). In this hub we respect the request of not only the band(s) but the tapers as well. If this is unacceptable for you, browse elsewhere.

5. No sharing of incomplete files or incomplete bootlegs. Note that a bootleg recording of an incomplete show, ie. encore missing would still be allowed, however sharing of 3 tracks from a 10 track boot is not.

6. NO sharing of lossy audio files. This includes but not limited to mp3, wma, ogg and so on. Lossy videofiles are allowed but discouraged from being shared.

7. You must share a minimum of 5GB or 5 full shows of Dream Theater related at all times. If you're new to the hub, you will be given time to acquire those shows. While other bands are allowed, sharing DT and related shows is the main thing in the hub.

CONDUCT:

1. Queue ONE show from a person at a time, with maximum of 2 shows total in queue. This is to ensure that EVERYONE can download shows, not just YOU. Any person not following this rule is likely to get firewalled by the users.

2. Share what you download. If you get caught leeching off from everyone, you WILL get thrown out of the hub.

3. English only in mainchat, everything else in private.

4. Don't start fights in the hub, if you do, you WILL get booted out or at the very least muted for the rest of the day

ACTIVITY:

- New members get registered under special monitor accounts. Once they've had adequate time to meet the share requirements of 5GB worth or 5 full shows of Dream Theater, and if they've not caused problems in the hub, they will be changed to normal accounts.
- Regular accounts which haven't been used for 2 months will be purged from the user database unless specifically requested to "park" the account
- New accounts which haven't been used for 1 month since registration will be purged from the database automatically

JOINING

AT THIS TIME YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT MEMBER OF THE DTHUBS FORUM / HUB RECOMMEND YOU, AS WELL AS PROVIDING A LINK OR TXT FILE OF YOUR TRADING LIST - THIS IS BECAUSE OF USERS JOINING THE HUB AND HAVING TO BE BANNED FOR SHARING MATERIAL THAT IS NOT ALLOWED / LEECHING AND NOT SHARING

If you're interested in registration for the hub (required for entry), you need register yourself to the hub forums and read the Rules & Joining Thread and follow the instructions there. Do not PM Borlag, as he no longer runs the hub.

Currently there's about 50 active users, with 15-25 users constantly online. The total sharesize is about 8-10TB and the collection available through the hub consists of over 1200 Dream Theater & related shows.

Please note that anything officially released, or otherwise banned material will result in an immediate and permanent ban with no chance of coming back.
